what more could you want
"Why are you here? Really?" Anita was being quite pathetic. Gaz didn't get it.
"Well, I'm happy to see you to, Needy." He cornered her. They needed to be alone. He just wanted to discuss Lauren with her. That's all this was. "Don't you trust me?"
"No." She sounded frantic as if he'd hurt her this instance.
"Jesus, you are just a ninny like Lauren always said. And I thought you were mates." He swelled a frown.
"We are." But she looked upset.
"What's really going on?" Gaz glared at her.
"Don't know what you mean?" They were in the park. Gaz was hungry. Always hungry. Of course, nothing went to his waist. But he just couldn't get enough food lately. It was like there was some sort of underlining theme. And he didn't know what it was.
"She won't talk to me." Gaz squinted hard. "I know its been difficult. Like, I suppose I let her down. We just can't blow that money, you know. Safe keeping. For a rainy day, you know."
Anita looked up at him.
"What is Lauren trying to keep from me? Please tell me, Needy, I want to know. I need to know." Gaz told her.
Anita pressed her lips tight.
"What is it?" Gaz tossed his banger and shook her shoulders hard. "I NEED TO KNOW."
" God, I promised her. We are mates!" She wailed. But he held on to her shoulders tight and she knew he had no qualms hitting a female. "She's -she's- she's gonna have a babe." Anita scowled.
"What?" Gaz tensed. He thought he might choke on his own breath as he fell back.
"Its your's, you fuck." Anita looked at him blankly.
Gaz couldn't say anything. He was overwhelmed with tears. Why hadn't Lauren told him?
